![]() A couple of months ago Philips promised us that in the period of two years we will be able to expect foldable LCD screens from then. Now philips have finished their prototype of their first such product. The picture above illustrates the product by Philips that is going to be the first document-reader or e-reader as it sometimes is called. Philips have decided to call this product "Readius". The size of Readius will be about 100 mm x 60 mm x 20 mm, that is the size of today's mp3 players. The screen will have 320x280 pixel resolution and will be able to show four shades of grey. It would be interesting to see how Readius makes it in the market and how it will be used. Only future will tell... |

Iriver, one of the more famous mp3 player manufacrurer are about to release 4 new models of mp3 players.
![]() The iriver U10 is a button-free mp3 player which is navigated throug the screen. Irivier call this technique "Direct touch". The LCD screen has a resolution of 320x240 (QVGA). It supports MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG Q10, MPEG 4 SP-videos, JPG, text and even flash-games. It will be available in 1GB & 2GB memory. ![]() The iriver T30 is a sequel to their iFP700- and iFP800-series. Its battery time is 20 hours on an AAA-battery and supports MP3, WMA along with OGG Vorbis. ![]() This third MP3-player that is to be called T20 has an aluminium skin. It supports MP3, WMA, OGG Vorbis and ASF. The display screen is graphical and supports four lines of text and has a blue background light. The battery time is 14 hours and the battery is a built in Lithum-battery. It will be available in 512 MB and 1 GB memory. ![]() The last release from iriver is the T10 which is a "tougher" than the usual mp3 players out there. Its equipped with a graphical display, and plays 53 hour of music from nothing but a simple AA-battery. Like all the other models this mp3 player supports MP3, WMA, OGG vorbis and ASF. It will be available in 512 MB and 1 GB. |

We haven't been able to get much information about this product, but it is a keyboard called Optimus keyboard which is designed by Artemy Lebedev.
The keyboard is completly digital and each key can be reprogrammed to be a letter, number or maybe a shortkey for a software. The keyboard will be released in 2006 and no price is specified. ![]() MORE IMAGES |

![]() Google has recently released a new search function. This one is not for usual information or Books like their other functions has been thus far. This one searches the globe for close up views. You can for instance zoom in on New York and see all the steets close up with the help of the satelites Google Earth is connected to. Very handy if you are going to travell somewhere as it can find directions from any place to any place on our home planet. You have to check it out for yourself to know how usefull it really can be.
