Hi... I need help.

My PhotoShop seems all messed up, When I try to do a gaussian blur, it blurs it, but it is all cappy, with no smooth areas. Where it changes colors, it looks like there is an edge.

Please Help

I'm not sure what you mean, but it might sound like you've made a selection around the area that you want to blur, this may result in getting an edge if the blur is to massive (higher %).

Mabey you could post a screenshot?

Hi and welcome to the forums Bile.

You can try to reset you photoshop settings by holding down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT while starting Photoshop (before the splash screen).

I think I figured out my problem, I don't think it has anything to do with photoshop.

I looked at the same graphic on a different monitor, and it looked fine, so Im going to ajust my screen settings, then I'll get back to you.

Thank you, and Im glade to be here
