Righto... I have £200 from GCSE (exams) money....
Im going to be getting a new GFX card at the computer fair on wednesday and am wondering if there is any perticular brands or cards i should look out for.
I have a Geforce6300 something or other (i think) built into my MOBO at the moment and its performing rather crappily with som of my games.
Help much appreciated |

X1800XT for that kinda price.
Asuming it has a PCI-E slot
The 256MB version is £150 and the 512MB version is £230 from Overclockers .co.uk so if the prices at the fair are good then you may be able to get the X1800XT 512MB version which is rather damn good.
Yeah I am not supprised that onboard 6300 is struggling there not really ment for games. |
