Welcome to DEVPPL.
Well.. Open up all of your images (file>open>locate your image). Now that you've got them all opened you can choose which ever you'll be working on (or create a new file to work on file>new) by choosing from the top menu window (The current active windows will be shown here and you'll be able to switch between the images you opened just before).
To paste an image into another file, go to the window the image desired is. Take out your rectangular marque tool and draq over your picture by clicking and holding, let go when you've got the desired size you want to copy/paste. Hit ctrl + c. Go to the window menu again and choose the window your going to make the collage on. When this window is active press ctrl + v to paste the image.
Remebmer the function ctrl + t, this will make you able to transform what ever picture you need (rotate or rezise it. Try holding down shift and drag from one corner). Just make sure your on the right layer, (in the layers menu (down right usually).
Another function you might need, ctrl + shift + n. This will create a new layer.
Merging two or more layers. Highlight the layers you want merged (in the layers menu again, just shift + click the layers you want merged) and hit ctrl + e.
Just ask if you need more help. |

If you're collaging, I would also suggest becomming familiar with the smart object feature. It will save you TONS of time resizing your images/layers.
