you heard me!

ive been using photoshop for years so i know it pretty well.... and today i open in, click to change my forground color and for some wierd reason istead of the usual lovely multi option color selection window, i am presented with the basic one ( you know, the one with all the squares and the blank prset slots that usually comes up when you're selecting font colours in some prgrams)

so where has my usual selector gone?! this is driving me crazy because i cant just enter pantone numbers and play around with all the different pallets.

pleeeeeeease help!

this really is driving me crazy, since the only thing i can possibly think of is the adobe updater installed some updates yesterday.... but why would that do this?

First try this, in the window menu, chosse workspace>default workspace

This should set things back to default..

Not sure how you managed to get that window up there.. Never seen it before in photoshop..

If the above doesn't work .. then there's always the reinstall option .. But there is probally an easier way, I just don't know it. xD

That workspace was more of a wild shot anyways...

I think uinstalling it completely should help.. should take it way back to defaults ..
I can't find any differences from the screenshot you've provided, from my own

tal ualcs2 andeinalled eveything, and it hasent helped. im starting to think this maynbe a windows problem, as thats the default windows colour selector.

in 10 years of photoshopping, this is the strangest problem ive ever had happen to me...

whats really annoying is, Illustrator AND Image ready arent affected, they have the original adobe colour picker!

fixed it! in photoshops general preferences, the very first option is to change between the adobe colour picker and any others you may have (in my case the windows one) i switched it back and all is well again.

no idea how it got like that, but at least we've learnt something!

Case closed.

Thanks for your help:)
