hi guys,
im fairly new to photoshop and have been trying to create this text for ages with no luck, ive tired alot of the tutorials but i never seem to get the finish im after.

its the text in black that i want to recreate
Any advice would be mush appriciated

1. Write you text, rasterize the text layer.
2. pick out a grunge burhs (You can download some here if you have none www.deviantart.com)
3. brush over your text layer with the grunge brush set to white.
4. brush over your text with a grunge brush set to black.
5. easy as that 
You won't get the complete 100% same result, but something very, very near. |

It can be done in Image Ready. Essentially, you create a string of images that loop repeatedly. The trick however is to make it all look smooth. Say, for example that you want to run an animation at 30 FPS (frames per second) with your logo spinning once per second. You need to create 30 images that rotate the logo 12 degrees each, and align the images so that they all rotate along the same axis. Piece of cake, right? Good luck.

| the easiest way would be to make your logo in a 3d package, set the camera to spin round it (following a circular path around the logo so its seemless) render the frames, then like the previous post said, use image ready to combine them. the challege is to keep the quility while retaining a decent file size for the web. |
