I an attempting to simplify some photos of people (giving them a comiclike look) and want to get rid of smaller features (whiskers, eg) while keeping the larger lines intact.
Is there a solution for this without resorting to indivdually erasing them?
I have numerous image sequences with about 900 per sequence, and would rather not have to manually do each one.
Thanks much... |

I can't thinkg of anything that wil lsafe you the time of doing each image manually.
What I would do, would be to use to clone tool and copy similar skin over whiskers for instance.. |

Thanks...
I was afraid this was the case. I was hoping that a blur or something followed by edges, or something, followed by sharpen r something would do the trick. I've attempted those to various degrees, but thought my settings were off. I suppose my sleep disorder will come in handy afterall...when I do them individually... |

I guess that would work with smaller things that needed to be removed ..
Well, happy photoshopping |

Don't know if this will help, but here's a good overall skin tone smoother:
Duplicate the layer. On the top layer apply a Gaussian blur. The amount of blur depends on the resolution of the photo, but I'd start at a radius of around 8 pixels. Create a layer mask for this layer and fill it with black. This removes all the blur effect. Change the opacity of the layer to 50%. Now get the brush tool, set the foreground color to white, and paint over the skin- ON THE LAYER MASK. (Click on the mask to ensure that where you're working.) You should see the skin become visibly smoother as you paint across it.
Hope this helps.
