Ok, this may be a really stupid question but here goes...
I have a photo of a black car that I need to change to a bright yellow. I have changed colors on other items before using "Color" but apparently have never had to do anything with a black object.
What is the best way to change the color of this car?

As faith said, Hue and Saturation, make sure to check the box colorize.
You could also try dublicating your layer, change the blending mode to soft light, overlay and fill the car with a birght yellow. |

Well, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do this and make the colors look correct. Woudl anyone be able to help me at least get this started?
