I'm desperate, how can I get regular photographs to look like this? Is it some kind of plugin or filter, I've tried everything I know, looked for a dozen of tutorials and plugins, can't get anything like this.

Actualy I don`t think that effect is obtain in photoshop. Is a photographic tehnic called SOLARIZATIONS (or in this case pseudo solarization). (you may want to look up for Man Ray since he is the one who perfected this tehnic).
You have in photoshop a filter that is suposed to do this but the effect is by far the one you are looking for. You can obtaine a solarization (or something like that) using the computer but you have to work on smaller areas. I`d sugest to start with a Image invert, opacity, maybe levels or curves and you`ll have to see from there on depending on the image you`ve got.
Good luck. |

| Tri working with layers and trie to underline certain areas of the photo while other you dim to obtain that sharp contrast. Underexpose the photo for a better result |
