Hi all

I'm having trouble with colours in Illustrator CS2. Basically I can create a job using the colours in the pallete like pure black and pure magenta, close the job and then re-open at some point and the black is made of varying percentages of CMYK. Also if I paste text in from an email it's made up of varying CMYK values. Working in packaging to specific colours I need to maintain colours for consistency - anyone any ideas? Contacted Adobe who as yet haven't been much use.
