Hi I want to make a flash animation. I want to use some images designed in photshop. But today I have seen in some forum that flash doesn't work well with photoshop files. So I should open a photoshop made image in fireworks and edit or save it in fireworks file. Flash works well with fireworks files. What to do?

Wait about 3 months... The adobe / macromedia takeover went into effect a few months ago, and they are working on fixing that very problem. They will release their flash-photoshop hybrid in about 2-3 months

Just import to the bloody library or stage! It can be any compressed image format (Jpg, png, bmp, etc.) sorry about being so harsh but come on people use the help or have a quick google around for help before asking silly questions.

Hi samuel, I am sorry if my questions bother you or those are too silly. I appricieate your help. Now I have one think to know. Suppose I want a tree designed in photoshop to import in flash. But the background of the image is a great problem. As far I know to delete the background I need to go to in "trace bitmap" Then selecting the background pixels I can delete it. But in that case I see my originak image loses its quality seriously. What is the solution? How can I use an image without its background? I think I could make you understand it.Advance thanks for your help.

I was just annoyed at you before for sending an advert to me in a PM don't do that and I wont get annoyed.

If you've got the picture of the tree in photoshop with a transparent background you can just save as .png then import to library (file > import > import to library) in flash (make sure your library panel is being shown "window > library"). You should be able to drag the file from the library to the stage. and the pic will have the same background properties it had when it was exported from photoshop.

I am sorry for that. Actually I did not understand that it would violate the forum rule and it would bother you.

Thanks for your great help. I have just finished it saving in PNG. Awasome!
