ok, basicly im having a bash a designing simple templates for ebay auctions.

My problem was and still is getting text in the right place. I want the template to just be an image and the text to be seprate so users can edit the text without editing the image.
I only managed to get that after about an hour of putting the text in stupid places using layers 
I could set the image as the BG in a table and just simply write over the top but i dont think this will realy work as presiestly as i want eg. the sub header discription might not line up with the text lines in dreamweaver. So i tryed using layers as i said it took me about an hour to get that.
Then i previewd it in ebay and what a suprise....

As usual i bet its somthing realy simple, and before you say it yes the code is probably a mess and that might be the problem, but i was doing somthing i wasnt sure how to code so i used design view.

Your layers will always stay in the exact place.
So if you make your browers window bigger or smaller every thing will move apart from the layers.
This is a problem lots of people have.
You can either left align everything.
or
replace your body tag with this.
Change the width to the width of your site.
