Hey,

Hope this hasn't been posted before, i've had a quick look, but apologies if it has.

Anyway, sometime about a week ago my eyedropper tool suddenly changed it's properties without me deliberately or knowingly changing anything. What used to happen is that left clicking resulted in the foreground color being changed, however suddenly it was the background color being changed instead.

I've tried looking this up in other forums to no avail, and tried dabbling in preferences, i've made sure i'm pressing the right buttons, that i'm not accidentally bumping alt and tried resetting all tools.

If anyone has any advice or suggestions on how to change my precious eyedropper tool, PLEASE let know.

I just want to get it back to the default setting where left click alters the forground color, and alt + left click changes background color.

Cheers

Weird, never heard of that happening before, have you tried re-instaling PS?

No, but its since fixed itself. The problem is, I've no idea how. I clicked on some swatches and then all of a sudden it had flipped its properties back to normal. But to be honest, it could have nothing to do with swatches because at the time i was really busily drawing and it might not have happened instantly afterwards... something else may have triggered it. Also, I've read that other people clicked on swatches and that nothing changed. So when i clicked on them I wasn't even expecting anything to change. Anyway, sorry if anyone has the same problem and visits this thread; It's of no use.
