Is this possible? I'm using a WACOM-table and I'm trying to create flames but, of course, they aren't all smooth everywhere. Is it possible to smoothen out my path but still keeping the edge on the top of the flames?

Here, i added a pic:

Maybe i shall use another tool or maybe another program?
Thank you!

Hi and welcome to DEVPPL.

A suggest that you use some premade brushes to make flames. I made a google-search and found two good alternatives for you.

Nr. 1
Nr. 2

And here's a photoshop tutorial made by the DEVPPL crew, how to install and use brushes: link.

You should be getting better results using the pen tool / bezier handles etc.
Thats how you did the second flame right?

Rather than try and explain the pen tool and bezier handles, badly.... have a look at this tutorial. I learned everything I know (everything I need to know!), from this tutorial.

The pen tool can be a bit daunting to start with, I only started using it a few months ago after using PS for years, but I couldn't do without it now!

So I simply created a lineart layer above your `flame/path` pic!
Using the pen tool in this way is essential in creating smooth lines.
