|
|
I just bought a new computer. I got a 9700 Pro 128 mb graphic card with it. I ran 3DMark03 and I got 3122 points. Not very happy about that so I started thininking of overclokcking the core memory speed of the graphic card RAM.
I have never done anything like this before so I might learn a little about how graphic card memories work too. But I dont know how to do it and how to have a look on the temperature of the graphic card. Anybody who could help me? Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanx in advance! |

| If you are just going to clock it up some percent, I would recomend some software for that, for example PowerStrip. |

| Is there any software that somehow monitors the temperatures of the graphics card? Or should you install a temperature probe for that, attached to an LCD? |

Yeah, that program really worked out fine.
Okay, now I know how to overclock the piece of shit but how do I know what temp the graphic card is at? |

| There doesn't seem to be any program doing the job I want to. However, the Digidoc seems to have some probes to it, and otherwise I could alwise add a probe and a temp meter myself. |

| I'm into casemodding remember? You can put the LCD display connected to the probe anywhere you'd like. |

| That's why I don't drink. Besides that, I'm not sure what alcohol makes me do, that differs from time to time. Don't want to do things my gf hates.... |
