Hi
I am creating a masthead for a magazine and am creating the type from scratch in Illustrator.
I have created an 'O' using the ellipse tool and want the middle of it hollowed. I don't know how to achieve this. Can anyone help me out.
Cheers, Mat. |

| have you tried using the ellipse tool and making the center hole and making that a mask?? That's what I would try. |

Hey, I worked it out actually.
What I did was create shape over the top, in the shape I wanted the hole, selected it and went to Object > Path > Divide Objects Below. That meant I could delete it and it left the hole in the underlying shape.
Thanks for the reply. Mat. |
