Just curious to know how to save an artwork with a transparent BG? You know, when you got to save an artwork with no background attributes, so you can open just the artwork in photoshop - with no white background..

Hope you guys knows what im talking about.

Thanks

double click background layer to make copy layer. delete original background layer.... delete something at copy layer,, will be no white background board. but when you conver it to image file, transparent background will be appear as white.

You can simply export in any format that supports transparency like PSD, GIF, PNG, etc. at the resolution you want. Just make sure that what you want to export is visible. The default background of Illustrator is transparent, so it only adds the matted background if you save as JPG or similar that doesn't support transparency. You can actually turn on the transparent background grid in AI if you want as well.
