|
|
Hi there, I'm having probs with fading a picture on the sides: currently I'm just placing a gradient map over it and making the color on the sides the same as the background color so it looks like it fades, but this technique doesn't work when trying to fade 2 pictures into eachother...
Thx for the help in advantage |

| What I would do... is select the whole picture with a FEATHERED edge marquee... then cut... then open a new one with the same dimentions... then paste |

Ok that's a nice start, but what if I only like to fade the left side? |

| If you just want to fade 2 pics into each other, make the images on seperate layers, take the front layer and select the Ereaser Tool and just erease with a big pencil with smooth edges and just "draw" on the top picture and they will fade into each other. Done! |

Then, you use the feather on just the left half of the pic... then a normal hard marquee on the right
