| I have two images. One image is an old parchment with torn edges. I am trying to merge or blend this border around a few photographs. Now, the tricky part is to get these final images into in Design. The effect is so that I have images that look "burned onto" the parchment page (mentioned above), which is my background. Any ideas? |

Did you try layering the photo over the parchment and then experimenting with the blend mode? Try darken, multiply, or one of the burn modes. Then blend with a feathered mask. (I can go into more detail if you like - just don't want to offend you by treating you like a noob )

Create your image in PS, then go into InDesign and go File > Place. You shouldn't need to do any exporting or importing.
Hope this has helped. If you would like any more help, can you please post your pictures and any attempts that you have made so that I can see exactly what you're trying to do? |
