|
|
Ok guys heres the story.
A local Motorcycle club (largest in ireland) is having its rally soon and are looking for a few designs for their t-shirts.. This rally sees bikers come from all over Ireland/Scotland/Wales and England and even some from further afield.
The best one will be printed on 500 t-shirts (Designer will obviously be recieving one also).
So anyone wanna give it a shot?
A few bits to be in the design,
Its the 7th Snakebite rally
its venue is - Benone
date is - Fri 19th - Sunday 21st September
club is - Quay Vipers MCC.
Heres a pic of last years shirt.
(there was a mistake on this one, the snake is a cobra and not a viper)
Many thanks. |

If I were interested in having a crack at this kind of project (which I'm not - sorry ) I'd probably select Illustrator, not Photoshop, as my design medium. It's just a bit better suited to non-photographic, vector-art-only type projects.
Not saying it can't be done in Photoshop, of course, just thought it might be a good idea to post this request in the Illustrator forum as well - especially if you're not getting much response here.

| If You want someone to seriously work on this, you ought to provide all details about the project. Requirements for the design (dpi, size, color range, color mode etc.) and also there's the issue of designers from across the pond - will the club also cover the posting expence? |

The design which will be used, Their t-shirt will be posted to them no matter where in the world they are, This is the least they could do for the designers time.
This club is very Charity focused and has raised over £19000 for charitys.
QVMCC colours are yellow, blue and black and the design will be put onto a Black t-shirt.
Need to be 300dpi plus for any quality.
Many thanks guys.

Should the snake surely be cobra (or viper or any other specific snake for that matter)? I might pick this one up.
Deciding on the colors I suppose the design should be quite simplistic. Though - how detailed will the result be printed? It's a tad hard to explain what I have in mind without using design termins.
How small dots would be supported, to use it in the way showed below?

The t-shirts will be an Exact copy of any design. We have a guy who works in the printers and he will prepare the artwork for silkscreen or print process
And yes sorry it should be a viper if possible (last years was a cobra by mistake) |

When I started the questioning I had more spare time and I even made a sketchy design. I won't go into detail as it really isn't your business. |
