Hi All.
I want to create a shadow under an irregular 3D object which is on top of an irregular surface.
I think I want an adjustment layer, with some darkening and desaturation, and a mask I can adjust, drawn with the pen tool.

SO, I think, I'm trying to combine a shape layer as the mask with a Hue/Sat adjustment. Can I do that - I've tried and failed a lot!

If anyone could suggest the steps to do that, or another way, I'd be grateful!
