hi im running CS2 but i also had this problem in Elements 2 back in the day, and every time it happens i can never remember how i fix it.

every once in a while i'll use the feather to blur the edge of my selection

then, later on im working on a different project and, for example, try to make a border.
select>all
select>modify>border
then when i try to fill that border, it is feathered. i try to enter "0" in the select>feather radius box, but it tells me "you cannot enter 0" and sets the value at 0.2
i tried edit>purge all, but that didn't work. neither does closing and reopening the program

its driving me nuts! i cant use the paint bucket, OR the edit>fill/stroke options, the same thing always happens
