Hi guys, i am so excited to be a part of this great forum... so many cool people! personally i am a computer network manager and make some website beside my job.
i just recently upgraded photoshop from 7.0 to CS3.. and some of the behaviours changed in this software.. there is one, a really simple one, i have been struggling with it for days... is that in the old version, in the layer pallet, if you Ctrl+left mouse click a layer, all the image pixels in the layer will be selected (it is more like a colour range select, but instead of on colour, everything gets selected), but in CS3 it is completely changed.
how do i do this in CS3?
thanks so much in advance. |

In my CS3 it works the same way. You ctrl + left click the layer (specifically the layer icon) and it will make a selection of that layer's pixels.
I wonder why you are having problems... |

| You have to click on the layer thumbnail in CS3, you can ctrl+click anywhere on the layer in PS 7. |
