Hi all,
I'm new at this forum, at photo shop and all this graphic. So far I've only made one lousy lightning. It turned out well, and now I want to make more
The thing is, i was wondering if someone could give me a good link to a beginners site, with some nicely explained tutorials. Also, wich photo shop is best to use? |

First of all, welcome to DEVPPL. I hope you stick around!
If you're new, start right off with Photoshop CS or CS2. I've been using Photoshop 7 from the start, and can't get used to CS.
Besides the version you should use, check out the Tutorials section on this website. Further you could check out http://www.photoshop-tutorials.biz or something like that.
(I've never even created a lightning, so you should be just fine!) |

Yeah welcome =)
I've just started using CS2 and I really like it, mucher better then CS1 and the earlier versions.
Take a look at the photoshop tutorials -section here on devppl:

| The other day I came across a website that has loads of tutorials for many different software packages. I believe Paintshop Pro was in there too. I'll have a look, see if I can retrieve the URL, because I'm not really sure what site it was. |

| I hope it's a good software package for you to work with. Only sad thing is that tey charge you around €900 for it, some stores even more... You can buy an entire new computer for money like that! |

| And mabey I should... I apparently don't even have enough Ram for a simple tag! Isn't 512 MB enough? :O |

| I'm just using 256 for Photoshop 7 right now. I'm on my laptop, so it's a bit less powerful then my pc. I've got 512 inside my pc, but for 7 256 seems to be enough. My guess is 512 should be enough for CS2 though. |

How do you de-select for an example a text you've just typed? Where do I put a new font if I want to use t in cs2?
