Blending layers together (like Overlay, Hue, Normal etc.) is the very basis of photoshop. Well, to be honest I dont really understand which one of them does what. Uptill now I have been testing them all and check if I get the result I want with anyone of them.

I think its about time I really take it seriously now. I have been searching different tutorials but all they say is do this and that but nothing that explains anything. If someone could either share their knowledge or give me a link to a site where good site where I could get a hang of it I would be very thankfull.

Agreed, i will also do some searching, because i know what one to use to get the effect i want.. but i also would like to know what they do.

yes this is what i would like to learn the most but like u say there aint any tutorials on the topic
