| Open up a document 400x400 and set ur color to anything, then goto gradient tool and pick reflected gradient then just make a couple of lines then goto filter>Brush Strokes>Ink Outlines and then it makes a 3Dish effect..if u want this in the tut place ill put pics in it. |

| That don't make sense if you do two lines with the gradient tool the second one will replace the first one if you don't use any blend mode. |

Change blend mode of the gradient to difference and it will work. I've used that technique to in many tutorials to have a nice background to work on. For example:

About the member-tutorials. I want to have good quality of the tutorials, that's why I only allow some people to post in the Photoshop Tutorials -section, but if a user-tutorial is good, I move it there. So if you want to post tutorials, do in in the ordinry Photoshop Forum. |
