2010-08-12 - Signature restrictions

Due to spam, we have now set a restriction on user signatures.

A user now need 100 posts to be able to add a signature to his/her account. All signatures for users with less than 100 posts have been deleted.

Hopefully, this change will be appreciated by all the faithful DEVPPL users!

good idea,I think the signature is the only reason a lot join it seems.Does that make sense?

Perhaps, they join, enter a link to their site in their signature and make some useless posts, and get free links for that. But not any longer, now we only give links to our faithfull users. Like you, iDad!

thanks, youdaman! not sure my signature helps but it can't hurt.Lucky if I get a few hits a day but my site not open to conversation, that's probably why I allowed comments for one day and the stuff was to vulgar .that was enough Lol
