Is there a way to put an invisible tag on images ,where if it is clicked ,an event happened?

i mean , an image , lets say USA map, where you should locate New york city,
is there a way where i can put a tag on new york , and if you touch the right location of new york , the result would be true while if you touch another location the result would be false,,
