Adding audio to slideshow?

Postby pattimash on Thu Sep 07, 2006 12:47 am

I can't seem to import my audio files to add to my slideshow. Is there a reason that it doesn't take my files from my iTunes folder? Do I have to do something like convert it to another format first??? It will not show the file in the window to send it to my organizer.

help? thanks...

lol itunes can be a bit of an arse like that, what should work is if you open the library in itunes, drag the song onto the desktop... then import it from there into the slideshow... btw what are you using to make the slideshow.. ? If it doesnt work download a program that will convert the music file into a WMA or smthin :)

Btw the whole thing about itunes being bit crappy with the way of adding music to the pc from the ipod is cause they were tryin to stop people from sharing music as this is like dling for free (stealing) so u cant copy from the ipod to the pc... or cant you... lol

If you plug ur ipod in... open my computer click on ur ipod then go to tools > folder options > view > then click see hidden files and vala! click on ipod control (wasnt there b4) nd u should have multipul folders depending on how much music you have.. click on one of the folders nd its full of tunes.. :D but theres on problem they arnt named :( they r number coded, but you can then copy them all onto ur pc. its usefull for gettin tunes of ur mates ipod or if you use more than one pc ;) Meh basicly apple when for a simple way of stopping it.. but failed :p

lol sorry for goin of topic and this post wasnt in the right place anyway lol... hope this helps somone :)
