Adding reflection for objects not displayed from the front

Postby seson on Tue Jun 12, 2007 7:28 pm

Hi,

how can you add reflection on the ground (something every company does when presenting their products nowadays) properly? I'm asking, because the flip vertically does not always result in the correct reflection.

Suppose you had a software box with rounded edges and corners. Further, you looked at it from an angle of 45 degrees. So the bottom of the box is looking like a V-kind of thing. How would you now add a proper reflection on the ground?

Basicly just by dublicating the layer (ctrl + j), transforming (ctrl + t) and erasing (E).
Also, you could try using the other transform options in edit>transform such as the warp and distort.
