Ahh, finally i gathered courage to learn photoshop

Really scared right now. Dont know how hard it will be. My name is ankur and i am all ready to learn photoshop. Where should i start guys? I want to design logos, websites and those online stuff. Not interested in offline photography photoshop.

I got one book here, "adobe photoshop cs4 classroom in a box". Is this allright book to start learning?

You are on the right path, Check out ALL the photoshop things online @ DEVPPL you'll find you can a lot of the stumbling blocks moved real quick. Welcome to the forums!

damn, there are so many tutorials. Thats incredible. Though, i have picked up book "adobe photoshop cs4 classroom in a book". I hope this is nice book to start with. I have already finished couple of chapters and so far, so good.

But masking chapter looks really difficult. I did what they say, but i am not seeing rustic color when i use brush tool. I guess i should watch some tutorials here on masking.
