all browsers work but not IE ... why?

I am developing a website for an artist who wants a random picture of his art on the home page. I created this and it works with Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, but not with IE. The page in question is this: http://johntilney.com

The random image appears in the three but not in Internet Explorer. Can anyone give me a clue here?
