Am having a problem with my photoshop CS3 using a G5,
anytime i select the rectangular marquee or eliptical marquee it has a feathered selection even after i have made sure there is no feather in the tool tips and settings and even in PS preferences.
I've restarted PS and the comp countless times and also deleted the prefs file but still those two selection modes still come with a feathered edge... WHY?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks |

I'm not using CS3, but I suspect that you may have 'Anti-alias' checked in the tool tips. This allows for smoother corners and curves, but feathers the selection to achieve that.
