I have a bunch of bmps that I want to be in a single bmp. Yes, I could cut and paste each one in, but is it easy to write a photoshop script to do this?
I know how to create Actions, but I don't see one where I can figure out
where to paste the next image- a command to say how to paste an image into a particular location in the canvas, or how to figure out the dimensions of the image i want to paste.
2 questions:
1) is the above possible with photoshop actions, and
2) does anyone know of a simpler way to do this?
Much thanks. |

Go to Russell Brown's website:http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html and look for the "Dr. Browns Services" install file. Both Mac and PC versions are there. You must have Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Bridge.
Dr. Browns Services are a series of scripts that appear under the tools menu of Adobe Bridge. One of the scripts is titled Merge-A-Matic. Simply select several files in Adobe Bridge, run the Merge-A-Matic script, and it will place all the files on separate layers in one document.
Sizing and placement however, are up to you.
