Hello,

I am fresh in doing SEO, hope can get help here. ^_^

I have a website and doing swimming business. I have submit my link to a web directory, and the directories have display my link too. The problem is when i use the Link Popularity Checker to check my website popularity, it is not count in Backlink.

Could any one giving me the answer?

Ive never heard of a link popularity but one link isn't going to do anything. you should post on link directories consistently and use signatures on as many forums as you can.

one link may not help you may put alot of links on the most of pages to increase your backlinks in google for example in social bookmarking sites like digg,frul and etc and you should also join some of forums such as digitalpoint v7n and put a signature of your website in the forum end that will do for you and wait for google page rank update.

Yeah most of those programs automatically do it for you through search engines then serve the data up to you.

Go google and type link:your website address

This will bring up all the backlinks to your site, the only thing is google takes ages to register them so just setup google analytics and check traffic sources

in fact that link is not visiable now for search systems yet, that take time.for queikly be register , you may ping search system like for example yahoo for crowler be active about your site else you may wait an amount of 3 - 9 month to se your link, i guess
