Bit of advice needed

Heyup everyone,

I'll start with the before and after:

Be as brutishly harsh as you can as to where I could go from here to improving skin colour etc (without the need of a sun bed)

One thing I just couldn't figure out was how to sort those damned dry lips out without having a glass of water to hand and another camera

I've only been using photoshop for about 3 weeks now so 'nooby' terms would be very much appreciated,

Try posting this in the actual forum instead of gallery you might have some more response..

Im not a pro on photoshop ive been using it a few months to be honest

but advice wise heres what i can tell you
Learn about layer masks.
To improve skin colour add tans and such like theres always lots of different ways to do it but one is to change the levels...after you create a mask of your face...if you google changing skin tone photoshop theres loads of tutorials, or even youtube.

For your lips theres also a few options you could use the spot heal tool, create a mask of your lips add some gaussian blur

If i were you i would youtube it all anything you need to know is on there....
