Border Removal?

Postby MM xSkillz on Mon May 07, 2007 3:22 am

I am sure that you have noticed that when you place a flash file on a website, it always shows a border around it when you scroll your mouse over it and often says something like 'click here or press space bar to activate". Is there a way that you can just take this border thing off so that the flash doesn't get the border when you scroll over it.

Check your HTML and how it is embedded in the page. This should not happen if it is doen correctly. Use the publish settings to publish the correct HTML from flash. As a backup open your HTML in a text editor, select the flash , then set the border to "0". Its better to give a value then let it choose. Your flash file should not come up as a link as a default. Post your html if you still have problems.

Never mind, I found out another way to do this. It involves javascript that eliminates the border. Thanks for your help though!
