Browser problem

Hi all

Ok this is my problem i have created my site and there is a box tutorial and link box now i coded the site in notepad and validated it is html 4.1

now as it validated with no errors atall i assume it would be perfect in all browsers i was wrong i just tested it in all browsers in IE ,Firefox and Opara it works perfect but in Safari and google this box is a little messed up and i cant figure out how to fix it if it was just google i would not be to botherd but with safari being apples main browser i need to fix it ,the site is in my sig anyone with any ideas is appreciated greatly

Well Goggle Chrome is built on the same rendering engine as Safari so it will display the same.
I'm using Chrome at the minute and can't see what the problem is...

EDIT

Oh, I see it now, in your CSS put
Code: Select all
background-repeat:no-repeat;

In the classes that have the bg images for that box.

Hi Johnathan if you look at the top of the box right under where it says tutorials ya will see the graphic is repeating in a gap of about 1mm also right at the bottem there is a single pixel black line where are you from btw??
