I am in intermediate Illustrator user but I cannot seem to solve this problem.
I made a mermaid tail and want to add swirls & curls all through it. I used the brush tool and some fancy brushes I downloaded from the internet and it looks great.
Now how do I cut them out so that I can see the background color through the swirls? Please help, I've tried everything!!
