Bullets and Numbering in a word doc with VB

Postby Mahsa on Sat Jan 12, 2008 10:09 pm

Hello all,

I am trying to creat my own macro to be able to format a paragraph with bullets and numbers as I wish instead of using the format buttons. In that light i want to be able to scan the first four characters at the begining of each line (within the selected para), delete those four char and insert my list number. Here is the example:
i. djfkd
ii. kjfkdj
iii. djfkdj

should be

1. djfkd
2. kjfkdj
3. djfkdj

can someone tell me how to do this?

thanks
