hey Revision12,

50+ posts and no one replied to you yet...let me be the first.

I am not a wallpaper artist...or an artist at all. but i am a fan of art.

Here goes...

I see the teardrop but don't feel the emotion and for me, it doesnt register to the quote "today you are the law" (assume she had to take a life?)that may simply be because there isnt much contrast between the white background and the subdued colors you used for her but that is totally subjective and my opinion.
Also, you may want to soften up that shadow that is cast on her neckline.

I love the idea of the piece and I understand this has meaning to you that I just don't get from it yet, but i assume you are still working on it and it will be great when you are done.

Post the next revision of it once you are ready.

Thanks very much for the replies, I was beginning to think I was being ignored...
I totally agree with the thought that the emotion behind the tear isn't really 'there' in the image, and that the quote doesn't match.
Originally the image was meant to be about something else entirely, but it failed so I gave the thing a plain background and the tear was added at the request of a friend. I should have taken the quote off for sure.
This is proper constructive criticism (always hard to come by on the internet) so thanks.
