Can Someone Tell Me Please How To Do This

Well i had a normal picture (pic 1) and my friend made it gold for me (pic 2) but he wont tell me how he done it and i want to make other pictures i have gold the same as it.
Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

He may have used ImageReady...

I don't know how he got it to turn...maybe a pattern overlay for the gold? Of course he had to change it for each slide to make the gold "shine."

Maybe gradiant overlay too...

who knows?!

I'm thinking he used some 3d program to automate the whole thing.

ive been playing around with macromedia flash 6 (now adobe flash 9) and with the new version i am sure you can do that its just a matter of time but there are programs online that have ready made ones and all you have to do is put your picture in such as http://www.lunapic.com/editor/
