I was recently on Photoshop and it told me that my scratch disk was full. So I went to my Photoshop preferences and changed my scratch disk to a different drive. It told me that the changes would happen the next time I loaded Photoshop. So I reloaded Photoshop and it told me that the drive I chose to use as my scratch disk was locked. I am on a school computer and cannot unlock the drive. But I cannot get into Photoshop to change the location of my scratch drive without unlocking it. What do I do? Is there any way to get into Photoshop and change my preferences?
Assuming you're on Windows, hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift and open Photoshop. Photoshop will ask you if you want to "delete the Photoshop settings file". Click Yes. Photoshop will open with the default preferences.
