Can't save .fla

When I try to save my flash file i get this error

An attempt was made to access /location on computer/world.fla past its location.

I'm working on a mac but the file is on a PC. I was able save prior to this error message. The error started when the PC was disconnected from teh network.

Now I can't save the file at all! Not even here on the mac. But I can export to .swf on both locations.

Whats going on?!?

i think it might be a read error... is the file open on a different computer?

Nope.

I've opened it on the mac but the file is on the PC. I can't resave it to PC from the mac either.

So I've been working on the flash file from the mac and the file is stored on the PC.

Can't you just send it to your mac and open it locally instead of over the network?
