Car Graphics help

Postby boyracer on Tue Apr 10, 2007 7:02 pm

Hi Guys,

I have just bought a Arden blue Astra VXR which I want to use for promoting my driving school. What colour stickers do you think I should use and how can I see what they might look like? I tried using windows paint with no success and was advised on the Astra forum that someone here maybe able to help a little. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Managed to sort out a pic of the car and a logo, the logo doesnt have to be same colour or exact design just loosely recognisable. Many thanks again guys :D http://www.albumsnaps.com/?c=folders&fID=12079

First thing you want to do is get some stickers designed. Post some ideas here and im sure people will have a go at making them, then post a pic of your car and i and many other people here are capable of photoshoping them onto it so you can see what it looks like ;)

Best single color: Orange or Yellow

Best two-tone combo: Red&Green or Magenta&Lime

Best tri-tone combo: Orange/Green/Violet or Yellow/Green/Magenta

These are the most complimentary colors according to the color wheel. Of course, White or Black (or any neutral grey) is always an option.

As Tomi said, if you could give us an idea of what wording you want, we can gen something up for you. Also, if you could post photos of the car, I can give you specific color swatches, rather than general ideas.

Also, keep in mind that these colors could probably be fudged a bit and be OK. These are just to give you a general idea.
