all right im not an expert on photoshop, i took class in high school and after a year all i can remember is that the teacher was really young and she was smoking so any ways when i Open a new document in the channel i have only gray how can i fix that ?

If the problem is what i think you can go to Image/Mode/RGB color

well then when i pick a bruch and then i pick a specific color like blue for exaple, when i start brushing it shows white why is that?

I don't know i suppose you're in grayscale mode ( you can draw only in black and white) that's why i told you to go to Image/Mode/RGB color so you can have all the colors.But if that's not the problem then i don't know what could it be :(

well let me ex a lil more. now when i open new doc and can brush fine cause all the R&B colors are there (4 of them) and when i select something with magic tool then when i try to bruch it show white nomatter what color i choose....

this problem is starting to piss me off.. any time i do a blending, and after that i start to brush... i choose my color as black start brushing and it shows WHITE any1 has any idea what the pb might be? thanks very much...

Maybe you've set the blending mode of the brush to difference.I'm not really sure if that's the problem but this is what comes to mind for now.

nope i tried thats not it... here is the error "could not use the history brush because the bursh history state does not contain a corresponding layer." any one have any idea what that means.

does it work correctly if you use the pencil tool, or the shape tool, or do those come out white as well?

ok this is weird!!! i left for couple of hours then came back opened it and now the brushes work fine... this tells me it wont be the last time that i will see this problem
