Hey guys...
Here's what I'm trying to do.
http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z...ent=Banner.jpg
the shot is in illustrator. I'm trying to get all the white behind the packaging to be transparent so that you can see the rest of what's behind it..I'm having some real troubles figuring out how the clipping masks works. I created a path around the packaging in photoshop, flattened it, saved it as a tiff and opened it in illustrator.
Now what? How do I make the white go away so you can see what's behind it? |

| the link is not working so i cant see the pic your trying to edit but if you use the pen tool in illustrator and trace the white you want to remove then you click on that shape you just drew hold shift and click on the background so that both layers are selected at once then go to OBJECT/CLIPPING MASK/MAKE CLIPPING MASK and you will have what you need. |
