combining multiple strokes into one layer

Hello, Im new!

Jus workin on something where I have drawn hair with heaps of individual strokes and now I wanna combine.. or flaten them all into one layer so i can change the color of the hair. Possible? Im guessin its simple but im a noob so any help appreciated! :lol:

Damn, i knew it was simple! I figured it out after posting and I will say what I did in case anyone else needs it..

1. Select all the strokes (ungrouped)

2. Go, Object>Expand appearance

3. Then, Object>Path>Clean up

4. Finally, in the pathfinder toolbar.. 'Add to shape area' and 'Expand'

5. DOne!!
