Create email sign off

Hi,

i have tried to recreate an email sign off using logo etc, but the quality seems really bad. I create it in illustrator, then import into photoshop at 72dpi, and then save for web as a gif. but the quality is poor. What is the best way to do this?

thats the way you do it just save the original image not the one PS picks for you if its a bandwidth issue and you need it to be a small file then if you have fireworks you can put it in there and shrink the file size some but not much without losing some quality.
