I am in the process of making a website via goodsie, however even though they advertise that no knowledge of html is needed to make a site i have discovered that without html the site just won't look nice!!

I am looking to create a sidebar (i think thats what it is called - picture below)

any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
